CLMS Conference Terms & Conditions

PAYMENTS & PENALTIES


ATTENDEE CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY

Cancellations received on or before:

  • >90 Days prior to event start date: 100% Refund

  • 60-89 Days prior to event start date: 15% Fee

  • 30-59 Days prior to event start date: 50% Refund

  • 0-30 Days prior to event start date: $0 Refund ($0) - no refunds will be given on any canceled registrations 30 days prior to the event.


Cancellations must be sent to CLMS via mail, fax, or email, we cannot take cancellations over the phone. This information can be found at the bottom of this page. Registrations (including the Leaders to Watch Academy) are not refundable 30 days prior to the start of the event for any reason, including without limitation, no-show due to illness, acts of God, travel-related problems, acts of terrorism, public health emergencies or alerts, loss of employment, and/or duplicate purchases. CLMS will provide registration refunds and options in the event CLMS fully cancels the event.

TRANSFERS

If you are no longer able to attend, a colleague may substitute to avoid cancellation penalties. To make a substitution please email us.


PAYMENT POLICY

CLE accepts American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, checks, and school purchase orders (POs) for payment. An approved form of payment is required to attend the event.  In the event it is necessary to commence collection proceedings, the buyer shall pay all collection costs incurred, including reasonable attorney's fees.

PURCHASE ORDERS

If you are paying by purchase order, the payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of the invoice. Documents other than a valid purchase order are not a guarantee of registration and may be subject to cancellation. A purchase order is not a final payment. It is your responsibility to forward invoices related to your conference registration to your appropriate department for processing.

NO-SHOW POLICY

If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.



ATTENDING THE EVENT


CONFERENCE PHOTO RELEASE

Attendees acknowledge that photographs or videos may be taken at any CLMS Conference by either representatives of CLMS or other attendees of the event. Attendees understand these photographs or videos may be used in CLMS promotional material, website, or social media, and attendees will not receive compensation for their use. It is further understood that CLMS has no control over the use of images taken by other event attendees.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

CLMS expects event attendees and participants to communicate professionally and constructively, whether in person or virtually, handling dissent or disagreement with courtesy, dignity and an open mind, being respectful when providing feedback, and being open to alternate points of view. Likewise, CLMS expects that any sharing of information about the organization or any event attendees or participants via public communication channels be shared responsibly and in a way that clearly distinguishes individual opinion from fact.

PRESENTER RESOURCES

Presenters may share media and resources as part of their sessions. These resources are provided for attendees’ personal use and are not for distribution unless the resource explicitly states that it can be broadly distributed or written permission is individually granted by the presenter. In either case, proper attribution to the original creator is required.

Your email address is required for registration confirmation and conference updates. CLMS will only share your email address with our event partners. You may opt-out of their communications at any time.
