The Schools to Watch Leadership Retreat will give you the chance to get away, decompress, learn about things you’re interested in, share your knowledge, and connect with your peers!
Current STW leaders will help mentor others wanting to apply for Schools to Watch status!

North Lake Tahoe is a convenient destination with easy access through dozens of daily flights to the Reno International Airport (RNO). Incline Village is less than a 45-minute drive away, and there is a shuttle directly from the airport. Fall is a beautiful time to visit, with snowfall being highly unlikely.

Dr. LaFaye Platter
Dr. LaFaye Platter specializes in leadership development for educational administrators and corporate leaders. With a distinguished career in education, she has served as a deputy superintendent of human resources, principal, and teacher. She holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Valdosta State University.
