A teacher leader, Shauna Everson consistently strives to make things better. As AVID coordinator, she facilitates professional development and shares research-based instructional strategies and best practices. As an 8th-grade academic block teacher, she incorporates WICOR strategies, analyzes formative data to monitor instruction, and invites students to participate in intervention. Post pandemic, 80% of her students were proficient or higher. Her career week and college day events involves parents and community.
