Replicable Practices
The Climate and Culture Committee (CCC) at CSMS fosters a positive and inclusive school environment by engaging staff, students, and families in collaborative efforts to enhance community connectedness, improve school culture, and promote a supportive atmosphere for learning.
Offering an exploratory program featuring Spanish, Design, and Art, complemented by diverse extracurricular opportunities, including clubs and after-school sports, fostering student engagement, creativity, and development.
Practicing data-driven decision-making using assessment data from state standards and International Baccalaureate (IB) programme benchmarks to inform instructional practices, identify student needs, and drive continuous improvement in achieving rigorous academic goals.
Weekly teacher collaboration, combining whole-staff and individual sessions with the IB Coordinator to address student needs, refine lesson design, and enhance educational strategies in alignment with grade level and IB standards.
CSMS implements a replicable practice through its "Service is Action" and "Community Project" programs in 7th and 8th grade, encouraging students to engage in meaningful service, develop critical thinking, and address community needs in alignment with International Baccalaureate values.
