The daily huddles are brief, structured meetings in which the Acacia Middle School administrative team reviews student behavior data, discusses acts of aggression, and coordinates timely interventions to enhance communication and proactively address issues.
Digital Data Trackers empower students to monitor their own academic progress, set goals, and take ownership of their learning by tracking performance across all classes throughout the school year.
All teachers consistently use Learning Intentions and Success Criteria to clearly communicate lesson goals, engage students in self-assessment, and foster ownership of their learning outcomes.
The school consistently uses positive language to acknowledge and reinforce students’ appropriate behaviors, promoting a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Open lines of communication among staff allow for proactive identification and collaborative intervention on student behavior, academic, and attendance concerns before they escalate into chronic issues.
