Veronica is a teacher’s teacher. She knows each student well, plans differentiated and personalized lessons, uses authentic assessment, and expertly infuses culturally responsive teaching to engage students’ backgrounds and interests. She had difficult students last year and chose to loop with them this year since they had created a community. A Cotsen Foundation Reading Fellow and the mentor for the Ballet Folklorico program, she is truly phenomenal.
