Nicole Luckin’s passion in building scientists is contagious for all that walk into her classroom. From Mrs. Luckin eating “sewer lice” to playing students’ favorite songs for a sound unit - science is truly experienced in her classroom. Throughout the struggles of distance learning Luckin never lost this passion. It was not uncommon for her to have a myriad of laptops operating simultaneously to capture science experiments through distance learning. Luckin’s passion led her to create individual take-home science kits so students could experience hands-on and relevant learning. With students returning to school Luckin continues to inspire and create opportunities for students to deepen their love of science.
