Kate Rennie excels as an educator and schoolwide leader. As head of her campus CARES team, she coordinates impactful professional development through topics such as self-care, empathy interviews with students, and providing support for families and LGBTQIA students. Kate also enhances the campus robotics elective by introducing creative activities and securing grants for additional resources. Her dedication is evident through winning a Petaluma Education Foundation grant for collaborative furniture. Beyond achievements, Kate champions students, investing time to understand their backgrounds and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Through project-based activities, she empowers students to work at their own pace, problem-solve, and infuse their creativity into their projects.
