Mr. Yanes is a knowledgeable advocate of high school reform in accordance with current educational trends and practices; shares knowledge with colleagues; incorporates State Frameworks and Standards, current research, and technology. He goes over and beyond in finding creative methods to engage his students and provide instruction that is relevant. His students engage in many hands on applications of the curriculum. He is a teacher leader and has provided professional development and led the technology committee. He is empathetic with his students while maintaining high expectations.
